Britney Spears has been in the news quite a bit lately. Allegations are flying concerning her approach to motherhood, her career, and now her dogs. This comes after Porsha, Spears’ Doberman, escaped from her Thousand Oaks property last week.

Apparently, the dog was roaming around the neighborhood when she came in contact with a man in his 70s that was riding his bike. The man got off the bike and the dog bit him on the leg shortly before a member of Spears’ security team came to wrangle him up. The man later got his bite checked out at a local urgent care center.

A source close to the celebrity told the media that Spears’ team was later contacted by urgent care and told to make sure the dog stays on the property and doesn’t get out again. The same source also described the incident as more of a ‘nip’ than a bit.

The dog was gifted to Spears by her husband Sam Asghari back in October 2021. At the time, Asghari posted a video of himself with the dog. “It’s going to be trained to protect you from any motherf**ker that comes around you with bad intentions,” he said in the footage.

This is not the first incident Spears has had with her dogs. In 2021, shortly after being gifted with Porsha, her pups were removed from her care after one of them became seriously ill with digestive issues.

Her housekeeper was the one who took the dog to the vet. She was concerned as the dogs were being fed table scraps and were suffering from dehydration due to a lack of water.

After the dogs were removed, Britney reportedly got into a heated argument with the housekeeper and grabbed her phone, striking her in the arm.

The dogs were returned by Britney’s dogsitter after two weeks. Her housekeeper later filed a report for battery but prosecutors soon dropped the case due to insufficient evidence.

Apparently, both of Spears’ dogs had gotten out during the bite incident. Ashgari later posted his thanks to the Dog Days Search & Rescue which found the two dogs that escaped from the property.

He called it “the best search and rescue here in Southern California,” and says the dogs, “ran like Forrest Gump out the door and they were found 5-6 miles down the road.” He is promoting the charity for their good work.
