Céline Dion has canceled all of her scheduled tour dates until April 2024.

The legendary singer,55, took to Twitter on Friday to share the news, accompanied by a statement explaining that her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome rendered her unable to adequately prepare for and carry out the remaining shows.

The renowned singer bravely disclosed her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome in December.

Celine has been diligently undergoing treatment for this diagnosed medical condition, which has hindered her ability to perform. The statement further emphasized her commitment to recovery, stating that she is working tirelessly towards regaining her strength.

“As the world has emerged from the pandemic, Celine has continued to be treated for a diagnosed medical condition that prevents her from performing. Celine is working hard on her recovery,” read the statement.

The statement added, “We do have every hope that someday soon, Celine will be able to come to all of these cities in Europe to perform for her amazing fans, but that time is simply not now.”

While there remains a genuine hope that Celine will be able to grace the stages of these European cities in the near future, the timing is simply not right at present. Her medical team continues to monitor her condition and provide necessary treatment.

A statement posted on the singer’s official website confirmed that all tickets will be fully refunded to the disappointed fans.

‘I’m not giving up,’ Celine Dion Cancels World Tour But Left a Hopeful Message

Along with the announcement, which revealed the cancellation of a total of 42 dates on her Courage World Tour, Celine Dion expressed her profound remorse but emphasized her unwavering determination.

“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again… and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything until I’m really ready to be back on stage… I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” – Celine xx,” she shared on Twitter.

Back in December, Dion disclosed her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome, an uncommon and untreatable neurological disorder known to induce severe muscle spasms. In an Instagram clip, she revealed the news, explaining that her condition necessitated the postponement and cancellation of several upcoming concerts.

“I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through,” she shared alongside the clip.

The European segment of Dion’s tour was scheduled to commence in Amsterdam in August, culminating with a grand finale in London in April 2024.

Prior to this, she successfully delivered 52 captivating performances throughout North America as part of the tour. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly halted the tour’s progress in March 2020. Celine Dion cancels world tour with no date for recommencement.
