Chicago Is Moving To Miami

Trilogy Real Estate Group, out of Chicago, IL, has put forward the idea for a 36-story apartment building in the Miami neighborhood of Edgewater.

The proposed site was purchased for $30.65 million last year by TF Second and 23rd LLC. Plans for the project, titled Residence 23, were put before the Urban Development Review Board on Wednesday February 15th.

Residence 23 plans to hold 369 apartments with 13,520 square feet of retail space. The units would be sized from larger studios, at 566 square feet, to huge three bedroom apartments with nearly 3,000 square feet of space.

There are also plans for an onsite gym, a spa, a computer center for remote work, sports courts, and a pool. We can also expect to see a lounge and sky deck on the top floor of Residence 23, which has been designed by Coral Gables-based SB Architects.

The potential new building will be situated between the waterfront at Edgewater, Midtown Miami, and Wynwood.
