Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis were spotted hugging two months after Wilde’s breakup with British pop star Harry Styles. Are they on good terms now?
Wilde and Sudeikis started dating in 2011 after meeting on Saturday Night Live. Following Sudeikis’ proposal in December 2012, the couple announced their engagement in January 2013. In 2013, they welcomed their firstborn, Otis. But it seemed like they were in for a long engagement, as they had their daughter, Daisy, in 2016 without tying the knot. People were constantly asking the couple when the wedding was finally going to happen. But in 2020, while filming Wilde’s movie “Don’t Worry Darling,” the couple announced their separation. They emphasized that it was a decision they both arrived at and that the children were the priority despite their split.
However, fans were quick to notice that the timeline of Wilde and Sudeikis breaking up weirdly coincides with when Wilde cast former One Direction singer Harry Styles as the lead for her movie. People speculated that Styles was somehow part of a love triangle between Wilde and Sudeikis. Some even theorized that Styles might be one of the reasons for the long-time couple’s breakup. However, Wilde clarified over and over again that Styles was not, in any way, affiliated with their breakup and that the relationship was long over before they announced their split.
