Genesis and Samsung Collaborate to bring new GV90 Electric SUV

Genesis is working on its upcoming flagship electric SUV, the GV90, the company’s largest SUV until now. The GV90 will tend to be featured with the most updated technology and software in an uncommon association between the Hyundai Motor Group and Samsung.

Hyundai Working on a Massive Battery Pack Platform

As per a report from South Korea’s ET News past month, Hyundai was finalizing the development of the platform that includes a big 113.2 kWh battery pack. Believing on the report then it would be among the highest capacities for mass production of the passenger EVs. So far, the Mercedes Benz EQS has 107.8 kWh which has the highest followed by the Tesla Model S (100 kWh) and Kia EV9 with 99.8 kWh also not far away.  This would claim an approximate range of up to 500 miles (800 km)

Freshly, Hyundai created a powerhouse alliance with other South Korean industry leaders. This includes Samsung, SK, and LG, to boost EV sales in the region. In keeping with the South Korean Car Blog, the GV90 will characterize by Samsung Electronics as an “Exynos Auto V920” semiconductor. This enables massive power to the processor and brings an immersive driving experience. This could be achieved via advanced driver assist features, a digital cockpit, and functional safety features respectively.
