Google launches paid version of Chrome Enterprise Premium

Google for desktop users introduced Chrome Enterprise as early as 2017, which provides a series of enterprise-oriented features, including access to enterprise-level applications, in-depth Security controls, 24/7 support, and more.

The company has now announced the launch of a new Chrome Enterprise Premium to enhance security measures to better deal with network security threats, while the original Chrome Enterprise will be changed to Chrome Enterprise Core version.

Among them, Chrome Enterprise Premium is an advanced paid version. It is based on the core functions provided in Chrome Enterprise, provides more security support for organizations, and has built-in management tools for IT and security teams, but only if it is an enterprise or educational institution. If you are willing to pay, the pricing is US$6 per user per month (IT House note: currently about RMB 44).

Chrome Enterprise Premium offers additional advanced security:

Enterprise-level control execution policies, and overall management of software updates and extensions to comply with enterprise development strategies.

Security Insights and Reporting: Supports incident reporting, device reporting, and forensics capabilities, providing transparent enterprise-wide visibility and integration.

Context-based access control: Extensible for web applications, context-based access control can help enforce persistent zero-trust access to SaaS and web-based applications and reduce.
