Google Pixel 8a design revealed new info

Google to launch the Google Pixel 8a at the upcoming I/O event scheduled for May 2024. Now, a reliable tipster Evan Blass, a reliable tipster on X has shared the press render of the upcoming ‘a’ series smartphone, showcasing its design. Have a look.

Google Pixel 8a: Design, Expected Specifications

The press renders confirm that Google will debut the smartphone in four colourways, possibly going by the Bay (Blue), Mint (Green), Obsidian (Black), and Porcelain (Light Beige) marketing names.

The renders reveal a matte finish for the Pixel 8a. The phone is seen with Google’s signature Visor-like rear camera setup. The camera module will house two cameras and an LED flash. The antenna markings can be seen on the sides of the device.

The left side of the device will house the SIM card tray. The power button and volume rockers will be present on the right side of the device. The centred punch hole cutout will house the selfie camera.

As for the specs, the Pixel 8a is expected to come with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be the first ‘a’ series device to sport a higher refresh rate panel. The smartphone will be powered by the in-house Google Tensor G3 SoC.
