Google Pixel 8a image leaked ahead of launch

Google is all set to launch the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones on October 4th. The company will soon also launch the A Series device under Pixel 8.

The Google Pixel 8a is seen in a bright blue colour, and a design that’s similar to the Pixel 8 series. The phone has curved edges and the camera band housing two sensors at the back.

The rear camera design follows the same layout as the Pixel 8 lineup. Up front, there’s a punch-hole display with the power and volume buttons located on the right side.

The Google Pixel 8a smartphone is codenamed Akita, and it had appeared on Geekbench recently. It was running an underclocked version of the Tensor G3 chipset paired with Mali-G715 GPU. The smartphone was also listed with 8GB of RAM, and Android 14.

The latest leak of the Pixel 8a also reiterate the phone’s codename, and that it will be powered by the Tensor G3 chipset, the same that will debut on the Pixel 8 series.
