Calling all Android aficionados! Mark your calendars because the Google Pixel 9 series is rumoured to be launching later this year.
Google to launch all these new AI features
The series should be made up of even three models , dusting off the “XL” model which has been absent for a few years, and we have already had the opportunity to know what the design should be thanks to some 3D renderings.
The rumors run fast and they have already revealed what should be the maximum specifications (for example the Tensor G4 SoC which should benefit from Samsung’s 4nm FOWLP process or support for the recent Qi2 standard for wireless charging ).
Google has now accustomed us to the fact that artificial intelligence , a real trend of the moment (especially in terms of generative artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithms ) is central to all its projects. It is therefore not difficult to hypothesize that the Google Pixel 9 , Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL could be packed with AI features .
Google Pixel 8 Pro can count on Gemini Nano (which will also arrive soon, in preview, on Pixel 8 ) and, taking into account the difference between the “base” model and the “Pro” model of the range, it is reasonable to expect a difference in treatment even with the 2024 flagships.
Google Pixel 9 could boast Gemini Nano from launch, while Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL could even boast Gemini Pro from launch, a version of Gemini that allows the execution of more complex tasks.
