As an American model, media personality, and socialite, Hailey Bieber has been featured in major ads for Guess, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger. She is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and niece of Alec, Daniel, and William Baldwin. Bieber is married to Canadian singer Justin Bieber.
Early Life
Hailey Bieber was born on 22 November 1996 in Tucson, Arizona, to actor Stephen Baldwin and graphic designer Kennya Deodato Baldwin. Her father is of English, French, German, Scottish, and Irish descent. Her mother is a Brazilian of Italian and Portuguese descent. As a child, Bieber was homeschooled and attended American Ballet Theatre in New York through her teen years.
Modeling
At the beginning of her modeling career, Bieber signed with Ford Models and appeared in magazines like V, i-D, LOVE, and Tatler. In 2014, she did her first commercial campaign for the French Connection clothing brand. She made her runway debut walking for Topshop and French fashion designer Sonier Rykiel in October 2014.
Bieber was photographed for American Vogue in January 2015 and in March for Teen Vogue. She shot her first magazine cover for Jalouse Magazine in April of the same year. During the same month, Bieber was involved in two cover shoots for the Dutch edition of L ‘Officiel and the American edition of Wonderland Magazine. Personal Life
Bieber’s main goal was to become a professional classical ballet dancer, but she ended her training due to a foot injury. Before her injury, she performed for the Miami City Ballet.
Bieber was rumored to be dating Shawn Mendes in 2018. The two made their first public appearance that May at the Met Gala.
From December 2015 to January 2016, Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber briefly dated before splitting; they reconciled again in June 2018. The two engaged in July 2018 and confirmed in November 2018 that they were married.
In addition to English, Hailey Bieber can speak some Portuguese as her maternal side of the family is of Brazilian descent.
Health
Hailey Bieber was hospitalized with stroke-like symptoms on March 12, 2022, and discharged the day after. Based on a 12-minute video she posted on her YouTube channel, Bieber revealed that she had suffered from a transient ischemic attack caused by a patent foramen ovale. She also said that she had surgery to remove the particular heart defect.
