WhatsApp has now officially started rolling out the multi-pin messages in individual chats and groups. The feature was previously being tested as part of WhatsApp beta for Android, version number 2.24.6.15.
How to Pin Multiple WhatsApp Messages
Earlier, you could easily able to pin up to one now you can pin three Pin. The introduction of pinning multiple messages will help users keep track of the vital information shared by other users.
The Meta-owned giant reiterates that users can either pin text messages or other messages, including emojis, media, and voice messages. For this, you just have to long-press the messages you would want to pin in one-on-one or group chats. WhatsApp will ask for a confirmation of the duration of the pinned message, which ranges between 24 hours, seven days, or thirty days.
Once pinned, the message will stay on top of the chat and can be accessed by tapping on it. On group chats, admins will have to power to decide whether they get to pin messages or allow others to do so too.
