iPhone 15 Pro models have recently faced many issues related to heat and performance. For the solution, Apple has recently released the new iOS 17.0.3 update. Now, according to several users, the issues have been fixed. A reviewer claims the phone’s performance and thermals have been significantly improved.

As per the Chinese reviewer by the nickname “Ah Zheng Is Very Hard” runs Geekbench 6 scores to compare the GPU performance.
On iOS 17.0.2, the iPhone 15 Pro Max scored 27,163 points, while on iOS 17.03, the score was 27,381. While the GPU scores remained largely similar, the gaming performance was improved vastly.
The reviewer testing showed that the ‘Honor Of Kings’ game on the iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.0.3 resulted in an average frame rate of 116.9 frames per second (FPS). While the game resulted in 105.4 FPS on iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 17.0.2. In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro Max averages at 103 FPS on iOS 17.0.3.
