Jeremy Renner has been updating fans on Instagram about his recovery two months after being badly injured in a snow plow accident.

On January 2nd, the ‘Hawkeye” actor was crushed while trying to stop his snow-removal tractor from sliding and hitting his nephew. The snow groomer began sliding, causing the 52-year-old to exit the vehicle without setting the emergency brake. Renner was airlifted to the hospital, where he was treated for more than two weeks in the intensive care unit. He underwent at least two surgeries.

Even though the actor broke over 30 bones, a new update shows he’s getting back up and doing physical therapy from home. In a brief video he shared on Instagram stories, Renner pedals a stationary bike with his left leg and uses his arm and a tool to assist with the movements.

“Whatever it takes,” he captioned the video.

Renner also captioned, “Mental Recovery Too,” on another slide, which featured the actor reading a copy of Mark Nepos New York Times bestseller The Book of Awakening near the fireplace. The book is a popular tome on spirituality, first published in 2000. It’s subtitled, “Having the Life You Want by Being Present to the Life You Have.”

Everyone is happy about Renner’s recovery, considering the seven-ton plow could have killed him.

During a conversation with Access Hollywood earlier this month, Evangeline Lilly, Renner’s friend and an MCU co-star claimed she was surprised at how quickly Renner is recovering.

“He turned around and laughed with his friends. It’s a miracle. It’s a pure miracle,” Lilly said. “He’s made of something really tough, this guy. You could always see that in him, and he’s recovering incredibly.
