Love is Blind’s Paul Peden Claps Back at Vanessa Lachey and Her ‘Bias’

If you felt like the Love is Blind reunion was particularly messy, you were not alone!

Speaking to People Magazine after the reunion special aired on Sunday night, Paul said that the entire interaction felt more like an “interrogation”, as opposed to a conversation. He went on to say, “It was drilling into these things, and I don’t know. In all, it’s alright. I think that no matter what you say, no matter what the conversation is, your character comes through in what you say.”

In regards to Vanessa’s pointed question about Paul’s feelings surrounding his former fiance, Micah Lussier, and whether he could see them having children together, Paul said, “I thought that I detected a little bit of personal bias there. I’m not sure what it was. And I guess she’s within her right to drill on personal bias, but she shouldn’t present as being an objective neutral party if that’s the case.” He went on to add, “but I think it’s fair to continue follow up questions. But if we’re going to go that route, we need to be able to have a full length conversation.”

He then said, “Honestly, she never wanted to understand what I was saying. She just wanted to punish me.”

The internet came out in droves to support Paul, with multiple tweets joining in the call out.

However it looks like Lachey is attempting to make amends for her perceived bias, sending a bouquet of flowers to Paul.

Posting a photo of the flowers on his Instagram story, he included the caption, “Thanks for acknowledging the accidental misleading @vanessalachey.”
