Megan Fox Returns to Instagram to Address Cheating Allegations

Megan Fox at Friends With Kids Q&A

You may have thought the world was ending when rumors got out about Machine Gun Kelly cheating on his fiance Megan Fox with his guitar player Sophie Lloyd. Fox responded by shutting her Instagram page down after a few dramatic and since deleted posts, but she has since returned to the social media platform to address the issue.

“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots, or succubus demons,” she wrote.

She also showered love on Sophie Lloyd posting, “How me making a joke in order to absolve this girl of a hurtful accusation somehow turned into a confirmation of it- I will never understand. Why are people so… so dumb.”

She also posted directly on Lloyd’s wall saying, “Sophie, you are insanely talented. Welcome to Hollywood. Your first unwarranted PR disaster. You have now been baptized by the flames of fame. It only gets worse from here unfortunately.”

Fox posted a video of a burning envelope with a caption quoting “Pray You Catch Me” from Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’, an album dedicated to the pain of being cheated on, shortly before deactivating her Instagram account. She also deleted all pictures of MGK and unfollowed other users on her page leaving only Harry Styles, Timothee Chalamet and Eminem, all of whom had issues with MGK in the past.

Sophie Lloyd got involved after a fan suggested in the comment section that MGK may have gotten with her. Fox fueled the flames replying, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”

Fox immediately shot down rumors of Lloyd’s involvement issuing the following statement through her management team.

“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has needlessly been dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media. Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”

So are MGK and Megan Fox having trouble? That is one part of the story that is standing ground. It’s unclear what kind of trouble they are having, but it is known that they plan to get therapy to work through their issues.

Kelly and Fox first met in the spring of 2020 while filming the movie ‘Midnight in the Switchgrass”. They began dating and got engaged in January of 2022. Fox was previously married to Brian Austin Green and shares three small sons with the actor. Kelly has a teenage daughter.
