Microsoft announces new Surface laptops with Intel Core Ultra series SoC

The Windows OS maker Microsoft has now introduced its latest edition of Surface laptops. The devices are all set for the business users, offering enhanced performance, longer battery life, more ports, improved security, and durable anti-reflective displays.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 are available for pre-order starting at USD 1,199.99.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 6: specifications and features

Display: The Surface 6 is available in two display sizes, either a 13.5-inch or a 15-inch touchscreen panel. The panel is what Microsoft calls a “PixelSense display” and has a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels, a pixel density of 201 and 400 nits of peak brightness.

The display has a 3:2 aspect ratio and comes with Dolby Vision IQ support. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display from damage.

Processor: The laptop can come with up to Intel Core Ultra 7 165H processor with Intel AI boost. The laptop features Intel Arc integrated GPU for graphics.

RAM, storage: The laptop can come with up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage.
OS, software: Users can choose between Windows 11 Pro or Windows 10 Pro, which comes with pre-loaded Microsoft 365 apps.

Audio: The device features dual studio mics with voice focus and omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Battery, charging: The laptop features a 47Wh battery paired with a 39W power adapter for the 13.5-inch variant and a 65W power adapter for the 15-inch variant.

I/O ports: The 13.5-inch variant includes one Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port, one USB Type-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm combo jack, and a surface connect port.

The 15-inch variant comes with two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm combo jack, and a Surface Connect port.

Wireless connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth version 5.3.

Others: The laptop comes with a full HD webcam.
