Microsoft reveals results of Edge browser

Microsoft issued a press release today to take stock of the user interaction data of the Microsoft Edge browser in 2023, indicating that the number of chats between users and Copilot this year exceeded 1.9 billion times.

Edge and Bing users have chatted with AI more than 1.9 billion times this year , which is equivalent to the total number of websites that existed on the Internet last year.

Users have generated 1.8 billion photos, 1,800 times the entire collections of the Louvre and New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art combined.

Edge browser blocked more than 127 million phishing attacks, which is equivalent to four phishing attacks every second for an entire year.

Edge users in the U.S. save an average of $400 per year, and global shoppers have saved more than $4 billion on Edge in total.

The cumulative time users have spent playing games through Edge is equivalent to 9,000 years and more than 4.7 billion minutes.

More people play Surf City games every day than the entire population of Huntington Beach, California (the original “Surf City”).
