MSI Launches MAG 274UPF E2: A New 27-inch Gaming Monitor with 4K 160Hz Display

On March 28, MSI has introduced its latest gaming monitor, the MAG 274UPF E2. Designed with gamers in mind, this monitor boasts a 27-inch 4K display with a refresh rate of 160Hz. It is powered by a Rapid IPS panel with an ultra-fast grayscale response time of just 0.5 milliseconds.

The MAG 274UPF E2 utilizes a 4K Rapid IPS panel, promising a swift response time of 0.5ms, a high refresh rate of 160Hz. It also has support for AdaptiveSync adaptive synchronization technology. Unlike some other displays in its class, this model doesn’t feature QD quantum dot backlight technology. Thus, positioning it as a more accessible option compared to the recently launched MPG 274URF QD display.

In terms of visuals, the monitor boasts 10-bit color depth (utilizing 8-bit + FRC), 400 nits of brightness, and covers an impressive 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, ensuring vibrant and dynamic visuals for an immersive gaming experience.

Connectivity

Connectivity options for the MAG 274UPF E2 include a USB Type-C interface supporting 15W reverse power supply, DisplayPort 1.4a, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and an audio output interface, offering versatile connectivity for various devices.

The monitor is accompanied by a stand similar to that of the MPG 274URF QD, offering height adjustment within a 130mm range to suit individual preferences.
