The rapper allegedly assaulted a man and caused $12,000 in damage at a Manhattan nightclub.

Authorities in New York City are looking for rapper Travis Scott after he assaulted a sound engineer and caused $12,000 worth of damage at Manhattan hotspot Club Nebula early Wednesday morning.

New York City Police Department’s responded to a call at around 3:25 a.m. that a sound engineer had been punched in the face after engaging in a verbal dispute with Scott, according to a statement from a department.

According to NYPD, Scott “punched the victim with a closed fist on the left side of the face.” The “Sicko Mode” rapper was accused of escalating the dispute.

Scott allegedly damaged about $12,000 worth of equipment— a speaker and a video screen, before leaving the scene on 41st Street in a vehicle, police said.

Scott’s Reps said they were unaware of all the details and did not immediately comment upon request.

The 31-year-old rapper, who shares daughter Stormi and son Aire with the on-again-off-again girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, had performed with Don Toliver earlier in the night as a surprise guest.

The incident comes more than a year after 10 people died at Scott’s Astroworld concert held in Houston on November 5, 2021. The rapper offered to pay for the victims’ funeral services, but many of the victim’s families turned down the offer.

Scott is set to headline the weekend’s Rolling Loud festival at Hollywood Park Grounds in Inglewood, California.
