OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12 phones are now getting the first AI feature. These features are now becoming common practice in the world of smartphones, but initially the Chinese brand seemed to want to follow a different path.
However, it seems that the manufacturer’s latest top of the range devices are receiving a new ColorOS update in China which introduces some managed feature packages by generative artificial intelligence.
This ColorOS update has rolled out for both the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12 , and according to the release notes, it introduces new AI features. It is worth noting that ColorOS on OnePlus devices is exclusive to the Chinese versions of the devices, while in Europe and the rest of the world the company continues to use OxygenOS, which remains practically identical in structure to its Chinese counterpart.
OnePlus’ AI news for ColorOS in China
The new ColorOS update in China introduces three new AI features on the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12 , which mark the company’s first timid approach to the field of generative artificial intelligence. The first of these features is called AI Summariser and is used to automatically generate a summary of phone calls using data such as location, time, date of the call and “other telephone information”.
