The new firmware version of Panasonic LUMIX S5M2 and S5M2X full-frame mirrorless cameras is officially available for download, with versions 3.0 and 2.0 respectively.

This update not only improves the efficiency of the video post-production workflow, but also improves the focus and anti-shake experience, and expands the continuous shooting function. The main updated contents of IT Home are as follows:
Low-bitrate proxy files can be recorded simultaneously when recording video
Added recognition of animal eyes, cars and motorcycles
A new advanced mode has been added to electronic video image stabilization, which can correct large shakes when shooting on the move; a new perspective distortion correction has been added, which can correct perspective distortion when shooting videos with a wide-angle lens.
A new “high-speed continuous shooting pre-shooting” function is added, which can record images up to 1.5 seconds before pressing the shutter.
Panasonic LUMIX S5M2 camera firmware version 3.0 and S5M2X camera firmware version 2.0 are now available for upgrade.
