Pink Reveals She Did Not Have a Good Time Filming Lady Marmalade Video

Pink recently opened up on her Tiktok account, letting us know how she really feels about the once controversial music video.

“Lady Marmalade” was one of the hottest songs of the early 2000s, thanks to its fun beat, all-star musical ensemble (including Lil Kim, Mya, and Christina Aguillara), and the fact that it was featured on the soundtrack for “Moulin Rouge!”, the 2001 cult classic musical by Baz Luhrmann. But Pink recently said that filming the music video wasn’t a great time. She even went so far as to say that it was one of her least favorites to be a part of.

Pink mentioned in the interview, that went viral on Tiktok, that “Kim and Mya were nice,” while never bringing up Aguilara. She went on to say “It wasn’t very fun to make. I’m all about fun and it was, like, a lot of fuss. There were some personalities.”

With Christina not being included in Pink’s accolades, fans and commentors were quick to jump on the potential drama in the comments, some accusing the artist of throwing shade and needing to move on since it’s been 20 years.

Others were just interested in the drama saying “the shadeeee. I need to know more.”

Pink didn’t hold back when she got wind of the comments, tweeting “Y’all are nuts. Xtina had s— to do with who was on that song. If you don’t know by now- I’m not ‘shading’ someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened. I’m zero percent interested in your f—— drama.”

She followed up with “Also- I kissed xtinas mouth. I don’t need to kiss her ass.”
