The grammy winner, 27, credits first child for motivating health overhaul and reveals dietary changes.

Post Malone is back in the spotlight, but this time it’s not for his music. The 27-year-old rapper recently took to Instagram to clear the air about his health and address concerns from his fans.

In a selfie shared on Thursday, Malone looked happy and healthy, and he had a message for his followers.

“I’m not doing drugs,” he wrote in the caption. “I’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and I’d suppose, performance on stage. I’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier.”

Malone credits his recent lifestyle changes to becoming a dad. Since welcoming his daughter with his fiancé in May 2022, he’s been focused on prioritizing his health and making better choices when it comes to his diet.

“I guess dad life kicked in and I decided to kick soda and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel,” he shared. “Next up is smokes and brews, but I like to consider myself a patient man… lol!”

Malone hasn’t abandoned his craft. He’s been hard at work in the studio, and he expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their patience and understanding.

“My brain is in a super dope place, and I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time,” he said. “If you’re having a hard time or need some love, I can say that you’re loved more than you know, and keep f—ing crushing it. goodnight nerds????spread love and rock on????????????.”

Post Malone is no stranger to putting on electrifying performances for his fans, but things took an unexpected turn when he was hospitalized in September 2022. Fans expressed their concerns about the “Circles” artist’s health, and he took to Twitter to provide some insight into his condition.

The musician shared that he woke up with excruciating pain and had trouble breathing, which unfortunately led to the cancellation of his Boston concert.

“I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than it has before. I’m having a very difficult time breathing, and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move,” he wrote in a tweet.

While fans were disappointed, Malone promised to make it up to them and reschedule the concert.

“Everyone’s tickets for tonight’s show will be valid for the reschedule that we’re planning right now. Once again, I’m so f—ing sorry,” he wrote. “I love y’all so much. I feel terrible, but I promise I’m going to make this up to you.”
