Prince Harry Labeled “Meghan Markle’s Hostage” by Some Royal Aides

According to a new book by royal commentator Robert Jobson, palace insiders have allegedly referred to Prince Harry as “Meghan’s hostage” behind closed doors.

Jobson’s explosive new book, Our King Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the drama unfolding when Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step back from their royal duties and move to California in 2020.

Claims of royal strife

Jobson claims that many royal aides have placed the blame squarely on Meghan for Harry’s decision to leave his royal life behind. But the author argues that Harry was actually the driving force behind the move. In fact, Jobson alleges that some officials even joked that Harry had Stockholm syndrome and was being held captive by Meghan.

This shocking revelation is sure to make waves in the tabloids, as it raises questions about the true nature of Harry and Meghan’s relationship. But Jobson doesn’t stop there – he also reveals that Princess Diana found a walkabout with Harry and Meghan to be “one of the hardest things she’s ever had to do.”

The book sheds light on the struggles that the royals have faced in the wake of the Queen’s death, and offers a unique perspective on the ongoing drama surrounding Harry and Meghan.

The Independent has reached out to Buckingham Palace and the Sussexes for comment, so we may be hearing more about this scandal in the days to come.

It came after Princess Kate found it extremely difficult to go on a walkabout with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

On September 10, Prince William and Kate Middleton walked with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex near Windsor Castle while wearing mourning attire. Although the four appeared friendly on the surface, Jobson claims that the image of unity was not genuine and that there was tension between the couples.

In fact, Catherine reportedly told a senior royal that the joint walkabout was one of the most challenging things she had ever done due to the ill feelings between the two couples.

The relationship between Harry and other senior members of the royal family has been strained since he officially stepped back from royal duties in 2020. The release of his memoir, “Spare,” which accused his brother of physically attacking him and being hostile towards his wife, further damaged their relationship.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received an invitation from King Charles III to attend his coronation in May, but it is unclear if they will accept. Reports suggest that the couple is trying to negotiate a role for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in the event.
