Samsung is expected to launch the new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone soon as the device now appeared on the BIS certification website. The upcoming fan edition device from the Galaxy S23 Series is said to launch with a downgraded front camera.

Now, the device is spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification website revealing its model number.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE BIS certification website listing confirmed the model number SM-S711B/DS which seems to be the Indian variant of the device. This suggests that the device launch is imminent and soon it will also be available in the global market.

Apart from the BIS model number, the rest details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE BIS are unknown. Earlier, the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench platform which showcased the SoC information.

As per the Geekbench listing, under the hood, the S23 FE will be powered by the Exynos 2200 processor. In some regions, the Galaxy S23 FE will make use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The smartphone will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and will come pre-loaded with Android 13 based OneUI.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE previously acquired 3C certification which confirmed support for 25W wired fast charging. Also, the smartphone will feature support for 15W wireless charging as revealed in the WPC listing.

Meanwhile, in terms of design, the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE phone will follow a similar design as the Galaxy S23 Series lineup.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will feature a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter as per SafetyKorea certification. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 4500mAh battery unit.
