The Samsung Galaxy S23 series has been a commercial success, with all three smartphones in the range outselling their predecessors.
Apple dominates the top ten best-selling smartphones in the world
According to the latest market analysis report shared on X by @Tech_Reve, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has also dropped out of the list of top ten best-selling smartphones globally.
Samsung’s flagship was on the list in the first and second quarters of 2023, but now the top ten is dominated by Apple with iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 occupying the top four in that order places.
Interestingly, none of the iPhone 15s have appeared in the list, while the iPhone 13 launched two years ago is selling well thanks to demand from the Indian market.
Samsung Galaxy A14 is the best-selling smartphone from the South Korean giant for the third quarter of 2023, ranked in fifth position, followed in order by Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A54 , Galaxy A04e, Redmi 12C and Galaxy A34.
The reason why the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra leaves the top ten is most likely the anticipation of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series which according to rumors would be launched on January 17, 2024.
