Samsung presents built-in highlights 2024 at EuroCucina

“I am pleased to present our latest innovations, which we announced as part of the global event series ‘Welcome to Bespoke AI’ in Paris, to visitors at EuroCucina,” says Diana Diefenbach, Senior Manager Technical Product Management and Communication at Samsung. “We are convinced that the seamless networking of our devices enriches the lives of users because the new functions of the built-in devices enable even more comfortable use in everyday life.”

The new Bespoke AI devices have a variety of new functions and ongoing connectivity that can improve users’ everyday lives – true to the motto “Do less. Live more.” Thanks to the “AI Home”, the new smart 7-inch LCD display integrated into the newly introduced Anyplace induction hob, users have control over their connected SmartThings ecosystem in their home. It offers an intuitive interface for controlling various connected devices throughout the home. With AI Home, you can look up recipes while cooking, track next cooking steps, or accept or reject calls on your compatible smartphone. Devices connected in the SmartThings ecosystem can be switched on and off, but also monitored. In addition, checking energy consumption has been simplified. The 3D Map View in AI Home also offers a complete 3D view of the house, which makes it possible to clearly control all connected devices. The Anyplace induction hob will be available in Germany from Q4 2024.

Also new is Mobile Smart Connect, a new feature in the SmartThings app. This can be used to send a notification to the smartphone when it is near registered devices in the SmartThings ecosystem. The pop-up notification has a quick control menu that allows you to perform the most important functions of the respective device directly from the smartphone. This means that users no longer have to search around the house for the remote control of the respective device, such as the Smart TV.
