Samuel L. Jackson Unintentionally Shows the World the Porn He Likes on Twitter

Samuel L. Jackson made a baby boomer mistake on Twitter. He started liking NSFW content without being aware that his favorite tweets on his verified account were visible to his followers.

In a very on-brand move to celebrate his 74th birthday on Wednesday, the Pulp Fiction actor has taken to Twitter for some good time. The actor was probably surfing away on social media when fans started noticing his “liked” content on his profile. They were porn posts!

People were quick to tag him on their tweets to get his attention. One user tagged the actor, “hi mate, letting you know your likes are public and everyone can see them.”

The actor quickly corrected his misstep by unliking all the NSFW content. However, the damage has occurred since most of his 9.1 million followers have seen it.

Other Twitter netizens were shocked when Samuel L. Jackson’s name topped the trending list. For celebrities to be trending, there is usually some bad news concerning that celebrity. Considering his age, people feared that he had passed away. However, his fans calmed down immediately upon learning why the actor was trending. One user tweeted, “Y’all had me thinking Samuel L. Jackson died, turns out he was just caught liking porn.”

Samuel L. Jackson is not new to controversial situations. In a past Wired interview, they asked if he watched anime, and he admitted to liking hentai or Japanese animated porn.

He also held the record for swearing the most on film for the longest time before being dethroned by Jonah Hill and Leonardo di Caprio. It’s not surprising, given the veteran actor’s film repertoire.

Before playing the role of Nick Fury for the Marvel franchise, Samuel L. Jackson mainly starred in action films. He has worked with legendary action directors like Martin Scorsese in “Goodfellas” and Quentin Tarantino in the cult classic “Pulp Fiction.” His characters in these action films are world-weary men with dry or dark humor. He’s very good at playing these types of roles.

Jackson has yet to release a statement regarding the situation, but fans are having a field day with their memes, using clips from his previous movies to flood social media with information about what happened. Now it’s safe to say that the majority of the Twitterverse has either seen or knows what happened based on the memes.

In true internet fashion, some users took screenshots and recordings of the now-unliked content and have posted it on their accounts. Suffice it to say Samuel L. Jackson will have new memes on the internet.

The veteran actor doesn’t seem fazed, however. He seems to be waiting out the Twitter storm by not making any comment. He seemed to have more reaction when told that Wolf of Wall Street stars Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio had surpassed his record for film swearing. If you are Samuel L. Jackson, you can pretty much do whatever you want on social media. He doesn’t have to prove himself to anyone, and his being mum seems to say as much.

His fans were of the same thoughts. Instead of bashing, he was hilariously trolled through memes. Fans have defended him, saying it was his birthday and he could do what he wants. One Twitter user even said, “you guys suck for bullying Samuel L. Jackson into unliking porn tweets on his birthday.”

Needless to say, this recent mishap didn’t affect the actor’s fame at all.
