SEAL Team 6 Successfully Evacuated U.S. Diplomats from Sudan

SEAL Team 6, the soldiers responsible for killing Osama Bin Laden was once again deployed to bring home American diplomats from the wartorn capital of Khartoum in Sudan.

The violence in Sudan started a few years after the country ousted their former leader in a military coup. Now, in a situation seen many times over in history, the same military who put an end to the former administration is fighting with themselves.

The violence broke out last April 15 and international leaders have been quick to get their diplomats out of the country. European superpowers like Britain have evacuated their officials from Sudan almost as soon as the violence ensued.

Now, the United States staged a successful evacuation of our diplomats and their family from the wartorn country. The evacuation was executed by the legendary SEAL Team 6 who was responsible for covert operations like the killing of Al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden.

The evacuation was carried in darkness and helicopters transported the remaining American officials and their families from the capital city of Khartoum. By Sunday night, the White House reported that the evacuation was successful and the officials are now secure.

Fighting still ensues in Sudan today and the international community are on the lookout.
