As per the official Tesla website, the company has relaunched a Model Y rear-wheel drive version in the U.S. market, replacing the previous all-wheel drive version.
Tesla Model Y rear-wheel drive model price
The company has stated that the price of this new car is US$43,990, further lowering the price of the Model Y model in the US market, and is US$3,750 lower than the previous all-wheel drive version.
Model Y models currently on sale in the U.S. market also include the long-range version and the performance version, which are priced at US$50,490 and US$54,490.
In addition, this new car is also eligible for a full tax rebate of US$7,500. The official website shows that the car is priced at US$32,890 after discounts.
For comparison, the Tesla Model Y rear-wheel drive version is priced at 263,900 yuan in China, the long-range version is priced at 299,900 yuan, and the high-performance version is priced at 349,900 yuan.
Tesla comes standard with pure black paint, 19-inch Gemini wheels, pure black premium interior and other basic configurations in the Chinese and American markets.
