The screen even has support for a peak brightness of 4,500nits, making it the brightest display in the industry. The company has retained the design of the OnePlus 11 and introduced the new phone in different colours.

OxygenOS 14: Best features and settings

1 — Global Search: Spotlight aka global search is a simple but probably the most handy iOS feature that iPhone users have enjoyed for years now, and finally, in OxygenOS 14, based on Android 14, we have the best global search on any Android phone, period. Of course, you can always toggle on Global Search by going to home settings and setting the drop-down action to Global Search. This setting has been there since OxygenOS 13, but you don’t need to enable it anymore. You see, the home screen on the latest OxygenOS 14 gets a Search button by default situated on the home-screen page indicator. A simple tap on it and voila, you are in the Global Search on OxygenOS 14.

2 — File Dock: File Dock is an extension of the Smart Sidebar from OxygenOS 13, and with the File Dock feature, you can use it as a clipboard to save any text, image, link, and file to the File Dock. Simply drag and drop the file or link to the File Dock to store it and then use it accordingly with the respective app or wherever it is supported.

3 — Smart Cutout: For a while now, iPhone users have been able to take a photo cutout simply by long-pressing an image. And just like how the feature works in iOS, you can open the gallery app in OxygenOS 14. Simply, long-press on an image to extract a cutout, just like how it works on an iPhone. Of course, Smart Cutout is not exactly an original feature, but surely a welcome one.
