Volkswagen ID.3 updated Facelift first appearance

Volkswagen first introduced the ID.3 at the start of 2020. This is the brand’s first all-electric vehicle based on the MEB platform. The vehicle was somewhat of a test product for Volkswagen, whereby all first-generation ID.3 customers are aware of its loopholes. At the same time, the company also collects data and reports in regard to the alterations that have to be made or improvisation with respect to future upcoming models. Now, an updated ID.3 is already out and is available for order. Further, we going to discuss some of the specifications.

Exterior

Talking about the exterior then its physical looks remain unchanged. The only alterations were done in order to reduce drag and to improvise the range. The hood is made from a single piece which makes the lines of the car flow better. The headlights now offer Matric LED technology in order to improve visibility.

When it comes to the side profile then that’s also kept unchanged apart from the wheels. Also, its body color options have been further expanded with a bunch of new hues.

Interior

Volkswagen put a lot of effort to make several realistic changes inside the ID.3. Firstly, the quality of the material is improvised a lot. The earlier hard plastic and fake leather is now replaced with softer and better-feeling material.

Other than this the overall outlook of the interior remains as previous but the infotainment system is now bigger and improved. The updated facelift depicted a new 12″ screen with higher resolution and better performance. On the other hand, it still did lag and sometimes feel unresponsiveness

The company did a great enhancement to update the infotainment. This is to measure the routes with chargers and charging time all along the way. It will also prefer faster chargers, which substantially minimize the total travel time. Additionally, it added subscription services as well and that can be activated on a monthly basis.
