WhatsApp is now reportedly working on a new feature for its users. Yes, you read that right, now you can able to pin messages in chats. This feature has been in development for some time, and it is now available to select WhatsApp beta testers on Android.
WhatsApp now lets you pin messages in chats
As per the latest information, the all-new feature is available in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.21.4 update that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. According to a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, you can now pin messages in chats. Once you select the message you want to pin, it will appear on top of the chat so you can easily access it whenever you feel like.
WhatsApp also lets you choose the duration of the pinned message. You can keep it for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days depending on your requirement. You can also unpin the message anytime. It’s similar to how pinned chats work as they appear on top of your chat list. For now this feature is still in beta, and available to only select users.
