According to the reliable tipster, Xiaomi will be launching a couple of smartphones with the 2022 flagship chipset from Qualcomm, i.e., the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Le Weibing, Xiaomi President, recently hinted that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power the upcoming vanilla Redmi K70.
The company has recently confirmed that it will debut the Redmi K70 series soon in China. A Chinese tipster has shared some specifications of the forthcoming Xiaomi MIX Flip clamshell smartphone.
Qualcomm’s first generation 8 Gen 1 processor could have performed better in terms of efficiency and heating. The subsequent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC fixed all those issues to an extent.
