Actor Tom Sizemore Has Passed Away Following Aneurysm – Hollywood Pays Tribute To His Troubled Legacy

After suffering a stroke and subsequent brain aneurysm that led to him being placed on life support, Tom Sizemore has died. It was reported by his manager, Charles Lago, that he passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, March 3rd.

Sizemore’s lofty career was rivaled only by his well documented struggles with issues ranging from drug use to domestic violence to legal trouble. He saw more than one court case surrounding his alleged abuse of romantic partners, including Heidi Fleiss and ex-wife Maeve Quinlan. He then went on to be at the center of multiple sexual harassment scandals before spending two years in jail for violating his probation. In 2016, a stuntman sued Sizemore and Paramount Pictures, stating that he was injured on the set of USA’s “Shooter.” Records later acquired by the Associated Press showed that Sizemore was only supposed to be sitting in the vehicle and that he “improvised at the end of the scene and drove away in his car.” Sizemore was fired from production and the lawsuit was settled on undisclosed terms.

Since his passing, fellow actors have come out to share their words of tribute for his career.

In a now deleted Instagram story John Travolta  shared a note honoring his late friend and co-worker. “I did a film with Tom Sizemore called Speed Kills. I found him to be an excellent character actor. He knew exactly what he was doing. I enjoyed the experience working with him very much. He will be missed.”

Others left their own condolences, with Danny Trejo saying “Beautiful guy, god called another hero back. RIP Tom Sizemore” on Twitter.

Actor Robert Davi also shared his condolences, also writing on Twitter, “Am saddened to hear of Tom Sizemore’s end of life – his family has my prayers – Tom and I were friends I knew of his suffering & his struggle with Addition – he was a terrific talent – Many families suffer from the heartbreak and tragedy of this disease and we do not do enough!!”
