Apparently the couple called it quits weeks before the cheating rumors took the internet by storm.
A source sat down with Page Six and said that Paris and Powell split in early April, saying that Paris had no interest in dating long distance. Despite Paris’ cryptic Instagram and Twitter posts, the source claims that the split was amicable.
All looked well with Sweeney and her fiance, Jonathan Davino, until yesterday when photos were taken of him leaving their shared home with his bags packed. According to those photos, he made sure to take his golf clubs and one of the pairs pups.
Rumors are now swirling from production assistants and staff on the set of Sweeney and Powell’s new romcom, Anyone But You, that they believed the pair was actually an off-screen couple based on their chemistry and alleged closeness.
Whether the rumors are true or not, these two certainly nailed the right kind of PR to promote their movie and have the whole internet freaking out over the possibilities.
