Gisele Bündchen, the renowned supermodel, recently opened up about her emotional journey following her split from former NFL star Tom Brady, whom she divorced after 13 years of marriage in 2022.
In a preview for her upcoming interview with IMPACT x Nightline, Gisele tearfully reflects on the challenges of their breakup.
During a clip of her interview with Robin Roberts from Good Morning America, Gisele struggles to articulate her feelings before breaking down in tears off-camera. “Well, when you say—” she starts before pausing to wipe away her tears. “Sorry, guys. I didn’t know. Can I have a little moment?”
Their divorce, announced in October 2022 amidst widespread speculation about the state of their marriage, marked the end of over a decade together. Gisele, now 43, shares two children, Benjamin (14) and Vivian (11), with Tom, as well as stepson Jack (16) from Tom’s previous relationship.
In the interview, Gisele Bündchen openly discusses the ups and downs of single parenthood. “There are easier days than others,” she concedes. “I can only control what I do.”
When asked about the possibility of dating again, Gisele, who has been linked to her trainer Joaquim Valente, remains reserved, offering only a hesitant “Umm.” Despite the tumultuous adjustment period following their split, Gisele expresses no regrets about her 13-year relationship with the Super Bowl champion.
“I look at my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing,” she said in a previous interview with CBS News Sunday Morning. “If I could change something, I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Tom, too, appears to be at peace with their situation, expressing gratitude to Gisele on Mother’s Day. “Thank you all for your love, compassion, and kindness,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “We are all so grateful for your support and helping us all achieve our dreams.”
Despite their separation, Gisele and Tom seem to have found a healthy co-parenting dynamic.
