On Wednesday, Darius Jackson took to Twitter and openly criticized Keke Palmer’s outfit.
The actress, 29, had donned a snug, black bodysuit beneath a sheer dress to attend Usher’s Las Vegas Residency performance.
In response to the immediate backlash from individuals highlighting that a) Keke looks incredible, and b) mothers have the freedom to wear whatever they please, Jackson penned his thoughts, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
Hours after quoting a video of Palmer dancing with the renowned singer Usher, Jackson shared his tweet, stating, “It’s the outfit tho… you a mom.” As his followers responded with mixed opinions, he concluded his posts about Palmer’s clothing by replying to a fan, “Last tweet of the day for sure. that’s for the real ones to understand.”

Keke Palmer appears to have indirectly addressed her boyfriend Darius Jackson’s criticism of her outfit choice for the Usher concert.
Taking to Instagram, Keke shared numerous photos of her ensemble, expressing in the caption, “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late. I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some ass in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself?? @noraradd.”
Keke and Darius have been in a relationship since 2021, having crossed paths at a Memorial Day gathering organized by Issa Rae and Diddy.
The couple are parents to their four-month-old son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton. Palmer publicly discussed her relationship with Jackson for the first time during an episode of The Tamron Hall Show in November 2021.
Reflecting on that moment, she expressed, “It became more difficult to hide. We spend all this time together, and he really is my closest friend, so it just becomes a thing where I’m not gonna hide something that makes me happy.”
She added, “It’s not gonna be everything you see, my job is my job. But at the end of the day this is somebody that is important to me so why not.”
