Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods might be leaving their past behind them. The reality TV star and her former best friend, both 25, were seen exiting a restaurant together in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Their reunion comes four years after their highly publicized fallout. Their presence together comes as a surprising turn of events, considering how their once-close bond came to an end in February 2019.
Kylie and Jordyn were once great friends and did almost everything together. Their friendship was shattered in 2019 when reportedly Jordyn was involved in an infidelity crisis with Tristan, who at the time was dating Khloe Kardashian, Kylie’s sister. This scandalous act resulted in Tristan being dumped by Khloe and Jordyn being shunned by the Kardashian family.
What really transpired between Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson?
One month following the initial reports of Woods and Thompson’s alleged infidelity, Woods decided to share her perspective in a tell-all interview with PEOPLE.
She claimed that Thompson, 32, kissed her during an afterparty at his residence on February 17 of that year. Despite vehemently denying any sexual involvement, she did confess that the next day, she informed Khloe, who shares daughter True (5) and son Tatum (11 months) with the NBA star, and Jenner that she had been at Thompson’s house but chose not to reveal the details of what had occurred between them.
Kylie had a very hard time moving on from their friendship
In 2019, a source shared with PEOPLE that despite being deeply upset and disgusted by the Tristan situation, Kylie chose not to rush into any hasty decisions concerning Jordyn. The two had a close relationship, with Jordyn even living with the Kylie Cosmetics mogul before the alleged incident with Thompson occurred.
“For a long time it seemed like Kylie wasn’t sure what would happen with their friendship. It was very difficult for Kylie to just cut Jordyn out of her life. Kylie was devastated at first. Jordyn was her confidant for so long. When Kylie was hiding her pregnancy from the world, Jordyn spent almost every day with her,” the source revealed.
Kylie and Jordyn tried to rebuild their relationship, but it didn’t seem to work out. Eventually, they both moved on separately with their lives. In 2021, Jordyn launched her beauty brand, known as Second Skin, and in February 2022, Kylie gave birth to her second child.
