It enables its owners to automate and make use of Siri for vehicle controls.
Recently, Tesla bring a new update to its iOS mobile app. In its release notes, the automaker stated that it provides access to vehicle controls via an Apple Shortcuts app.

Siri Shortcuts deliver a quick way to get things done with your apps with just a tap or by asking Siri. The Shortcuts app enables you to create personal shortcuts with multiple steps from your favorite apps. Start from hundreds of examples in the Gallery or drag and drop to create your own.
Now these recent updates enable Tesla owners to take help from Siri in order to perform tasks in regard to its vehicles. It also assists to use Shortcuts widgets to activate the task.
Tesla owners could already do some of these tasks through other third-party apps. But now it is officially integrated with Apple’s own app. On the other hand, Tesla’s owners were already able to do some of these tasks with the help of other third-party apps.
