Everyone has aliens on the brain after a rise in incidents involving UFO’s over the course of the last week. In just a few days, U.S fighter jets have shot down multiple “high altitude unidentified objects”
Friday, near Alaska, the first object was shot down. The next day, more objects were brought down in Canada. And on Sunday, U.S. forces shot down yet another object over Lake Huron, Michigan, close to the Canadian border.
One official was quoted as saying that while there is “no indication of surveillance capabilities,” they “cannot rule it out.”
According to ABC, the object that was shot down on Sunday appeared octagonal in structure and flew at about 20,000 feet. The craft is said to have been unmanned. The Department of Defense noted that it appeared to be the same craft that was seen over Montana just one day prior.
While the objects unidentified, Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder noted in a statement that his team will “now work to recover the object in an effort to learn more.”
These three instances are cause for concern, as they happened just on the heels of a Chinese surveillance balloon being shot down in South Carolina nine days ago.
