What’s Inside the Trailer?
The two-minute video gives us a taste of everything – J.Lo as a bride, some singing and dancing, and even a hint that she might be a “sex addict.” There’s also a motorcycle crash and a trip to outer space. But, surprisingly, there’s no sight of Ben Affleck’s face, and it seems he’s no longer credited as a writer.
“This Is Me…Now” is not just a film; it’s also Jennifer’s first studio album in ten years. It’s set to hit the scenes on February 16, the same day as the movie premiere. This is like a sequel to her 2002 hit album, “This Is Me…Then.” The original album was made before her engagement with Affleck ended. Now, years later, they’re back together, married, and living happily.
Despite being announced in 2022, the album got delayed. J.Lo sees this new album as a way to set the record straight about her life. She told Vogue, “People think they know things about what happened to me along the way, the men I was with — but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong.”
A Different Side
The film part, directed by Dave Meyers, promises to show a new side of Jennifer. It’s described as “genre-bending” and gives us a look at Jennifer’s journey to love in her own way. There’ll be stunning costumes, amazing dance moves, and even some famous faces popping in. It’s like a personal journey through Jennifer’s heart.

Talking about the project on the Golden Globes red carpet, Jennifer said, “It’s definitely kind of a meta story about the journey that it takes from getting from heartbreak back to love.”
