Unfounded Jamie Foxx COVID Vaccine conspiracy took over social media with no evidence to back it up.
If you happened to spend any time on social media on Thursday, chances are you were captivated by the trending story of none other than Jamie Foxx COVID Vaccine Conspiracy.
And if you somehow missed it, consider yourself fortunate.
So, here’s what happened: OK! Magazine published a headline that immediately caught attention. It proclaimed, “Health Shocker: Jamie Foxx Allegedly Left ‘Paralyzed and Blind’ Due to ‘Blood Clot in His Brain’ After Receiving COVID-19 Vaccine, according to a Source.”
The vaccine conspiracy theorists found the perfect ammunition in the form of an attention-grabbing, extensively worded headline. They swiftly seized upon it, sharing it across social media platforms and fueling their beliefs.
However, if one delves beyond the headline, the credibility of the sources becomes highly questionable. The article references two sources, but the first one is Foxx’s daughter, Corrine who shared an update on Instagram in May. According to her post, she revealed that her father had been discharged from the hospital weeks ago and was actively engaged in playing pickleball.
In her social media message, she expressed disappointment with how the media sensationalizes stories, stating, “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”
Besides, she hinted at an upcoming “exciting work announcement,” which served as a clear source mentioned in the narrative.
The second source, however, is gossip columnist A.J. Benza, whose remarks were made during an appearance on a podcast hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Dr. Drew Pinsky, known for his past involvement with MTV’s “Loveline,” seems to have shifted his focus toward vaccine conspiracy theories. For this reason, Benza found a receptive platform to share his story.
According to Benza, Jamie experienced a blood clot in his brain after receiving the shot. He emphasized that Jamie had been reluctant to get vaccinated but felt pressured due to the circumstances surrounding his current project.
“The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralyzed and blind,” Benza asserted.
Benza further alleged that he received this information from a source who was present with Foxx at the time. He dismissed the pickleball story as entirely fabricated and unsubstantiated.
“If you read what they were saying early on, ‘He is communicating with us.’ That doesn’t mean talking,” Benza claimed. “That could be anything. Writing. Sign language. I know those little code words.
Benza emphasized that a significant veil of secrecy enveloped Jamie Foxx, casting doubt on the transparency of the situation.
“Then you tell me your father is playing pickleball? Give me a break! There is a great shroud of secrecy around Jamie Foxx.”
The Jamie Foxx COVID Vaccine Conspiracy in a State of Uncertainty
The reliability of the sourcing raises considerable doubts and leaves numerous unanswered questions. It remains puzzling as to why someone supposedly present with Foxx would provide information to Benza. Furthermore, if Benza truly has a contact “in the room,” why would he then assert that there is a “great shroud of secrecy” surrounding Foxx?
One certainty amidst the speculation is that the rumor mill has been in overdrive since the 55-year-old star encountered a “Medical Complication” during the filming of his latest movie, “Back in Action,” on April 11. Amongst the multitude of rumors circulating, this particular one may be the most widespread and persistent.
It’s evident that Foxx faced a significant “medical complication,” as confirmed by his family. Given the circumstances, there is no justifiable basis to trust Benza’s claims over the statements made by Foxx’s own daughter, particularly at this stage.
The Actor’s COVID Vaccine Controversy Ignited Mixed Reactions
In an instant, Jamie Foxx became a trending topic, capturing the attention of numerous individuals who readily embraced the narrative. However, there were also those who approached the situation differently.
“His daughter said a couple of weeks ago he was home playing pickleball,” one person wrote in response to Kirk’s tweet. “I’m sorry, but I’m going to take his daughter’s word over some gossip column.”
Another user retweeted Kirk’s post with the comment, “Source: Trust me, bro.”
Another individual chimed in, saying, “Anyways, Jamie Foxx has hypertension which significantly increases your risk of having a stroke (aka a blood clot in your brain). I hope his family sues you for trying to make his health a political statement. Absolute weirdos.”
