Britney Spears graces headlines again, this time for her alleged rocky relationship with her husband Sam Asghari.
The 41-year-old singer married her long-time boyfriend, 29-year-old Sam Asghari in 2022, after her long battle for freedom from the conservatorship of her father. The two had been dating for almost five years before tying the knot.
But it seems not everything is okay in marriage land, according to TMZ. They have sources saying that the couple is often fighting, and sometimes the fights turn violent. TMZ also reports that the reported “screaming arguments” eventually led to Asghari allegedly living away from Britney.
However, Asghari slammed the rumor mills and defended Britney. He posted Instagram stories defending Britney against the press.
“I found it absolutely disgusting that people that were in her life at the time, when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs. It was absolutely disgusting…Then, all of a sudden, after 15 years when she’s free, after all those gaslighting and after all those things that went down, how are you gonna put her under a microscope and tell her story? No. That’s also disgusting,” said Asghari.
Britney relied on her husband during the whole legal battle for her freedom and Asghari criticized the media for making a circus out of it.
The couple stays mum about the new rumors and the press has reached out for any comments.
