According to the Tesla China Analyst X (Twitter) account, Tesla’s autonomous driving has recently conducted a “body” FSD test version that has been pushed to users in China, and the data will be collected in the “shadow mode” at the beginning.

After some checks, small-scale trials will be gradually launched. Recently, a reliable tipster shared important information that Tesla pushed the latest system update in China on August 9, which included “allowing Autopilot to analyze and improve automatic assisted driving after obtaining user consent.”

Elon Musk has already confirmed that the Tesla is currently making “the last piece of the puzzle on the FSD artificial intelligence (AI) puzzle” – “vehicle control”, which is expected to be available by the end to this year.
He stated that “vehicle control” is the last piece of the puzzle on Tesla’s FSD AI puzzle, which will reduce the C++ control code of more than 300,000 lines in the original FSD by about 2 orders of magnitude.
According to CPCA data, Tesla produced 80,345 vehicles at Giga Shanghai in July. Model Y production of 57,604 was the second highest monthly production ever, while Model 3 production of 22,741 was about 11% below the YTD average.
