Google is looking to uncover the Google Pixel Watch 2 alongside the Pixel 8 series smartphones such as the Google Pixel 8 and the Google Pixel 8 Pro later this year. The all-new upcoming Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch was spotted at FCC certification a couple of days back. Google Pixel Watch 2 is said to debut in LTE and Wi-Fi variants.
Now the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 2 is now spotted on the Google Play Console as well as on the Google Play Supported device list.
Google Pixel Watch 2 Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1(SW5100) Chipset
According to the information from MySmartPrice, the Google Play Supported device listing reveals the moniker of the smartwatch as the Google Pixel Watch 2. The code name is “eos”. The listing also confirms that the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 (SW5100) chipset which will be paired with 2GB of RAM.
The Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch to come with a 383×384 pixel resolution and it will run on Android 13 out of the box with Wear OS 4.0 on top. The previous leak suggests that the smartwatch will feature four new watch faces: Accessible, Arc, Analog Bold, and Bold Digital. Meanwhile, this upcoming wearable from Google is expected to pack a 306mAh battery.
