Tesla has substantially summed up a Model 3 Performance competition to its referral program. This is intended to enhance incentives at the end of the quarter.
Following the relaunching of its owner’s program at the start of this year, the American automaker has been substantially updating it.
Both referrers and buyers earn credits when referring buyers, and also when the buyers utilize the referral links. At the same time, the same Tesla credits can be redeemed for free Supercharger miles, items in its online store, and entries in a Cybertruck raffle.
In the last few months, Tesla has restructured the rewards on both ends. This has been used in the program, in order to offer more benefits and discounts to new buyers. On the other hand, it has increased and decreased the credits referrers get per referral.
Tesla has also moderately added new awards that can be obtained by exchanging credits. One of the most significant has been an invite to the forthcoming Cybertruck delivery event.
Moving ahead, the automaker has added a new “Model 3 Performance Sweepstakes” in the referral program:
Notably, Tesla was already offering Cybertruck sweepstakes for 500 credits per entry. Also, with the release of the Model 3 Performance Sweepstakes, which is 1,000 credits per entry. Additionally, Tesla also increased the credit cost to double for Cybertruck entries.
Alongside the Cybertruck giveaway, Tesla also revealed the date for the drawing of the Model 3 which is October 6. However, at this point, it is not clear that it will be for the new Model 3 Highland since the same is not available in the US yet.
