OnePlus has just shared official shots captured with the camera of the OnePlus 12R, the global version of the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 3, to give the world an idea of its imaging capabilities.
Demonstration shots of the OnePlus 12R
The published images have an f/1.8 aperture, 24mm for normal shots and 48mm for 2x shots. The ultrawide samples have an f/2.2 aperture, however in the gallery below the images are in compressed format, so they are not at full quality.
The demo shots shared look great, but they were most likely captured by professional photographers, so we’ll have to see what results ordinary users can achieve.
The OnePlus 12R has been confirmed to use a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and the sensor is likely to be Sony’s IMX890. The device will use two image algorithms to optimize shots in various lighting conditions.
