Vivo has revealed the new Vivo Y100 5G smartphone in the Chinese market. Now, according to the latest information from a tipster, Vivo’s third smartphone is all set to be launched as Vivo Y100 5G moniker.
The report reveals the design renders, colour options, and key specifications of the upcoming Vivo Y100 5G. As per the report, the upcoming Y-series handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC.
Vivo Y100 5G: Expected Specifications
As per the renders, the device will be available in two colour options – Black and Purple. The purple colour variant of the device appears to have a faux leather finish. The device seems to have flat edge design.
Vivo Y100 5G to arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Full HD+ resolution. This display panel will reportedly support up to 1200 nits peak brightness and will make room for selfie shooter inside a punch hole notch.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It could sport up to 8GB of RAM and will also support 8GB virtual RAM feature. The company will reportedly offer the handset in two storage options – 128GB and 256GB.
For optics, it will offer a triple-rear camera setup which might include a 50MP primary shooter, and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. The selfies and video calls on the handset are said to be taken care of by an 8MP front shooter. It will likely sport a 5000mAh battery unit with up to 80W FlashCharge fast charging over a USB Type-C port. The handset is said to offer an in-display fingerprint scanner. It might also feature IP54 rating.
