According to the latest information, it was revealed that someone has just received an Android 14 stable update and the Google team could start the global release on Tuesday 5 September.
This, obviously, will concern the various smartphones of the Google Pixel series that are still supported while for the devices of other manufacturers we will have to be patient for a few more weeks.
Android 14 timeline for main smartphone brands
As per the reliable tipster Yogesh Brar, the first customized interface based on Android 14 should arrive by the end of this month and it would be OxygenOS 14, which should therefore start landing on some of the most recent OnePlus smartphones.
During the month of October, however, the update for the latest Samsung smartphones should be ready, ready to receive One UI 6 . Also in October, FunTouchOS 14 , the customized interface used by Vivo on its devices, should also be ready.
In terms of Xiaomi’s MIUI 15, the interface adopted by Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO , should arrive in November .
In essence, it promises to be a rather hot autumn for the main Android smartphone manufacturers and their users.
It should be noted that the forecasts reported by Yogesh Brar refer to the presumed start of the release for the first models but it will then take several months before Android 14 actually arrives on the majority of these manufacturers’ devices.
